Governance

The PizzaX Protocol was conceived as a community-driven project, aiming to empower users to participate in governance. Decentralization is a fundamental principle of the PizzaX Protocol, and achieving it involves implementing a fair and transparent governance process. This document outlines the process for creating and advancing governance proposals within the PizzaX Protocol. It is a dynamic document open to potential revisions suggested by the Apple Pie Protocol community through the same governance process.
PizzaX is governed by its community, which participates in forum discussions and votes on proposals using the PizzaX Snapshot platform. Currently, proposals submitted by the CORE to the Snapshot voting system have binding authority if they receive enough votes to meet a quorum.
Voting determines decisions regarding significant structural changes, minor and major operational adjustments, and alterations to PizzaX.
Our aim is to create a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) with functional, trustless governance. This is a complex task that will take time and careful consideration. Everyone is encouraged to join the discussion about how the future DAO should operate and to understand the current governance model by engaging in our forums and in the #governance channel.
We welcome all community members to submit proposals on our forums. To make it easier for prospective voters to understand, please follow the provided template when creating a thread. If you want to include a poll in your thread, you can contact a member of the core team or a community team representative. If your proposal gains enough support, the core team may move it forward for voting on our Snapshot platform. Here, the community, working together with PizzaX, will vote to decide the outcome of the proposal.
